Our History of Live Music in Southampton
The Anglers Inn has always been intertwined with local music events, even in the early 20th Century. Every year, the Bishopstoke Village Carnival would pass by the pub as the patrons would watch from the windows above. Fast-forward to 2008 when the pub was put in the capable hands of sisters Rachel and Carey Light, and live music was a must-have to keep the spirit of the pub alive.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, the pub was renovated to include a brand-new conservatory area to create more room for patrons to enjoy live bands in Hampshire and Southampton gigs.
